I might in the near future start a Design Project with Hongyi Toys Manufacturing; a small Inflatable Toy manufacturing company in china, to recreate the Giant SR-71 - After reading about the baffle problem I would making the new version have tougher seams inside. Hongyi Toy states that their inflatable creations generally can support 300 pounds, and they have several weights of PVC - I was thinking .6 mm or thicker (.024 in / 24 Ga. like the original) They also use oulble seams and the seams are usually flat to the surface. In my recreation I was actually thinking about using smooth material and glossy colors.
